I was a bit disappointed. I think I expected to see a lot more about the process of mining marble. What I found was a lot of sculpted marble (side question: why does the hall pf Presidents stop at George H.W. Bush?), a lot of information about the monument that was created for the tomb of the unknowns in Washington, DC, and a collection of marble from around the world that looked more like a kitchen and bath showroom.

WOW A WONDERFUL experience come in the morning and spend the day A must see

To whoever is responsible for posting the hours of operation: The Vermont Marble Museum is closed from late October till late May. It will reopen on May 27, 2017.

Tags the tour. It has interesting historical and unexpected materials used in everyday products.

Please note that the "VERMONT / What to see" web site suggests that the museum is open all year. NOT SO. It is open only seasonally.
